• Zaw Min Yu was born in Yangon, Myanmar and bred within the nucleus of its film industry.
  • Since 2001 he is again based in Yangon after working extensively in Asia, Australia and Europe as a commercial photographer.
  • Zaw has also contributed to Asian Geographic, GEO Australasia, Sawasdee, and The Australian Way magazines, The Art of Burma - New Studies, Études Birmanes, and has been a Lonely Planet Images photographer since 1996.
